This will be the Fifth Annual Fall Writing Retreat presented by Marjorie at the Mabel Dodge Luhan Historic Inn in Taos, NM. Every year the retreat writing grows more profound, inspired & infused by the energy of the many master artists, writers & photographers whose presence seems to linger in the rooms that Mabel made available to them after she moved to Taos in 1917 and built her comfortable home there, near to the ancient Taos Pueblo. Guests have their choice of rooms such as the Georgia O’Keeffe room, the Ansel Adams room, etc. where they can stay during the retreat. The presence of Mabel’s countless famous guests is especially palpable in the large dining area where she entertained & fed her family & friends; today, it offers the same warm intimate setting where guests take their daily & communal gourmet breakfasts, included in the room price.
The Fifth Annual Fall Taos Writing Retreat, lasts 4 days/3 nights, & begins Thursday, Nov. 14th – Sunday, Nov. 17th, and gives the writer time to unwind, relax & savor their writing experience with a small group of other writers, many who come back year after year, relishing this time to renew their spirit & friendships as well as find new inspiration for their writing.
